Psychotherapeutic Counselling in Nature
The therapeutic process can be enhanced by being in a natural setting or by the mere function of physical movement through walking. This is particularly useful to those who are drawn to the outdoors or who find physical movement personally enhancing. Movement can also be an excellent way to regulate challenging feelings such as anxiety and depression. Being in nature can be an effective way of coming into greater relationship with the environment, as we connect with it, we also help the process of being more connected to our self.
